Whatever your year has been like (and this one’s been a toughie!), the end of the year is always a good time to count our blessings.
Travel restrictions may prevent us from being physically present with friends and family. But if we have friends and family, we are blessed.
Many of us have not achieved what we hoped for this year. But we may have learned new and unexpected lessons, and found resilience and creativity we didn’t anticipate. If we have the capacity to learn and adapt, we are blessed.
For many of us, Covid has created real economic hardship and uncertainty. If we end the year with hope for the future, we are blessed.
Most of all, we always have the capacity to lend a hand or lend an ear to our fellow human beings. If we can give of ourselves, we are truly blessed.
Have a wonderful holiday, and a very happy end to the year.
All best wishes,
Dr. Margaret Winters, DC
